Please give a warm welcome to Eric Charles. Eric brings his 7+ years managing relationships and closing deals at multiple successful technology companies to Origin. He will be working with prospective creators, brands, and influencers to drive new partnerships for our growing NFT business. Eric has already hit the ground running by helping us refine our partnership/sales strategy as well as creating the necessary systems and processes for us to really begin scaling our NFT Launchpad. Expect Eric to play a pivotal role as we expand from a few marquee NFT drops a week towards the greater vision of democratizing NFT creation and sales to many more creators.
Eric’s work with creators and brands includes experience co-founding and running a boutique marketing agency, Bredfor, that connects brands with influencers. He’s worked on campaigns for companies like Poshmark and Hopper, connecting them with many large influencers that he’s developed personal relationships with. Eric has deep sales experience and was one of the first 250 employees of sharing economy powerhouse Lyft. At Lyft, he was a founding member of Lyft’s first B2B product that is now a $1B+ revenue stream within their business. Eric’s experience also includes helping generate over $50M in net revenue at Tophatter, a discovery-based marketplace, where he managed the US team’s top third-party sellers.
Eric’s passion for NFTs and empowering creators stems from his love of video games growing up, where he first familiarized himself with virtual currencies and digital goods. Today, he is the proud owner of Bored Ape #2903.
In the physical world, Eric is an avid basketball player, having played NCAA Basketball at University of California, Santa Cruz. He’s also the proud parent to Winnie, a 1-year-old Yorkshire Terrier puppy.
